Two-game ban for Cavani and Lavezzi

Paris Saint-Germain announced that they will impose a financial and footballing sanction on Cavani and Lavezzi for taking more days off than they were permitted.
At a press conference, Laurent Blanc explained that Cavani and Lavezzi, "will train separately from the squad until Saturday and will not take part in the next two matches".
Both South American players made the excuse that they stayed away in order to spend more time with their respective children.
"It is inadmissible and unacceptable. When someone puts personal issues ahead of the group, the group is jeopardised", fumed Blanc, who added that careful consideration had been taken before making a decision. "My decision is the fairest possible".
The monetary fine to be imposed was not disclosed but newspaper Le Parisien has suggested that the club would like it to be "significant", because Nasser Al Khelaïfi was extremely angry with the two footballers and wanted to make that clear.
The manager confirmed that it was these two players who had failed to meet their obligations in not turning up to PSG's training camp in Morrocco.
Since returning from South America, Cavani and Lavezzi have had to train twice a day in order to make up for lost ground.
